The early bird registration period ends August 25. Registration closes November 10 at 11:59 pm ET. Onsite registration is not available. Individuals who have not registered in advance will not be able to attend the meeting.

Note, all meeting participants (Society staff members, attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, consultants, and/or vendors) will be required to follow all meeting health and safety guidelines, including presenting proof of vaccination. You will be directed to upload your vaccination documentation on the registration form.

Scholarships available for meeting attendance

To help remove financial barriers to joining us in our efforts to advance just and equitable abortion and contraception informed by science, we are providing a limited number of scholarships to attend the Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MD and to become a Society member. Priority will be given to first-time attendees and those without institutional support to attend. Applicants will be asked to provide a brief personal statement about their interest in attending the Annual Meeting, and applicant selection will be guided by our DEI Vision Statement.

Scholarships include: complimentary conference registration, up to three nights in the conference hotel, travel up to $600, a per diem of $100 per day, and a year-long Society of Family Planning membership for new members.

Members and non-members are welcome to apply.

  • September 23: recipients notified

Refund policy

Refunds, less a $50 processing fee, will be given to those who submit a written request to [email protected] no later than November 15, 2022. Refunds may take as many as 10 days to process. Refunds will not be given after that date for no-shows. For COVID-19 related cancellations on or after November 16, funds will be applied to attendance at the 2023 Annual Meeting.
